Question I need help with wheel ids

I have bent wheels and the dealer wants to order new ones for me.
Can someone tell me the type of wheels I have on my 2000 540ia with sports package. I know they are 17" and staggered. What is the type?
    Thanks, Pat

See if it's in this list... should be pretty comprehensive:

I found this site also. It gives part numbers, etc.

Get a second opinion about the rims from a reputable tire shop.

Are you sure that you have style 37. I believe thet 37 is only available in 18" dia. You might have style 66 if it is 2000 540i.

There are also numbers on the back of the rim some of them tell you the rim size and offset and the rest is a part of BMW part number.

You are correct. Thanks for calling my attention to that. I took pictures and sent them to the dealer. I am extremely happy they are replacing the wheels for me.

    Thanks again for everyone's help.
