    advice on 15" drag/street tires

Hi guys, I need advice on a good drag/street tire for my OE "bottlecaps" wheels, now they have 205/60/15 and i was thinking 225/45/15 drag? I have m52 cammed turbo 12psi and all the rest, went to the local 1/8 mile drag strip last night and did a 2.5 60ft, 9.4 1/8, 86mph. spinning almost all the way, I had my 19s on and all but it was just for fun so i didnt switch back to the 15" OEs. Now I have a bug to lower the 60ft time! thanks for reading

The good news is you should not have trouble improving your short times!

after some research I decided going with Mickey Thompsom ET street 2, 225/50/15 and I dont regret it, I went to the track again last night and did a 8.0 on the 1/8 @ 87mph and 1.79 60'. my friends say that i should do a 7.6 if I get my lounching straight, anyone using MT et street?

i used to use the mickey thompson et streets at the track but they are natorious for wheels hop and axles breakage. I run mickey et streets 265/40/18 for street use and i use my hoosier quick time pros 26" slicks for the track to save my axles and drivetrain. Your lucky you didnt break anything.lol

MT drag radials are a good choice. I have both ET streets and Drag radials for the Chevelle. I feel the radials are better or at least are more stable with my 2 tons of fun. No sidewall walk down track.
