Yea, distances here are very messed up compared to the US. like a map, what looks like a 2 hour trip in the US can take around 5 here. twisty twisty roads
And the speed limit
I find its about right to allow 80kph as the average speed on a trip here (without upsetting the fuzz), so a 400Km trip - allow 5 hours. My friends in the states suggest their average is a lot higher.
Due mainly to straighter more boring roads ...Originally Posted by Jazzbass

Come to NZ.. you'll love it, trust me.
Bring us all your tourism dollars. And find a way to hire a CSL while youre here.
Maybe I need a translator. What's a CSL?Originally Posted by Dnz

They are the same thing stateside, pretty much similar to what the 3.0 CSL was back in the day.Originally Posted by autophile

I've been told when you buy one from the BMW dealership you have to sign a disclaimer stating you understand the tyres dont work well when its cold or wet

BFCNZ represent.
Bimmersports alright mate, just needs us to raise the tone
Its a ricefest waiting to errupt.
No moment is safe.
Bfc is like a safe haven.
Edit: Bimmersport isnt ricefest. Its more like a fine wine, which shuns rice.
