well mine is pretty fast and i've done a few things. you can't get a more aggressive diff than the 528 has; 4.10. the best bang for the buck was the M50 manifold swap i did. it's inexpensive and nets you some great high end hp. you really feel it on freeeway passes and the like. intake will just make you sound cool. exhaust will give a little kick but i'd recommend buying fro sound over performance. software can help a lot with throttle response and power. all those together will help add a few real horses.Originally Posted by utgrad

You wont see significant gains doing little things which cost a lot for BMW's. IE: intake, exhaust, chip, pulleys, etc. If you want to see some significant results, you have to go with forced induction. Slap a blower on the car and you'll get about 100hp. I have seen used kits for sale on various forums for around 2-3K, install would cost about another grand and you'll need software/ecu. Id say that would be the best bang for you buck.
