Purchased off Ebay for $73, I'm fairly certain it's Jim Conforti but I'm not 100%. 3" diameter made of very thick carbon fiber, seems very high quality and even features the thermostat housing for the 92-95 models. However, it didn't come with a heat shield and the coupler is, well, blue (have a new one on the way). So here's my questions...
1. Can someone recommend a good heat shield?
2. Should I leave the duct that used to be running to the air box?
3. Does anyone know for sure what kind it is?

A Conforti intake will use a heatshield, and an ITG filter. I guess it sort of looks like the design for a Conforti intake, but the real thing fastens to your HFM with the oem clip thingies and seals it off with a rubber o-ring. Perhaps its an older version of one, but I dont believe it came in CF in the past.

Could I purchase these and add them?Originally Posted by GotBHP?
you should of just bought a cosmos intake for 119.
No, the JC intake fastens to your HFM the same exact way the stock airbox does.Originally Posted by Capital
