Some pics of my new M3!

Just purchased this recently (1998 M3). In excellent condition and well maintained ... Although still learning a lot about the car.

A few mods came with the car ... that include: Bilstein Shocks/H&R Springs, TMS Sway bars, control arms, trailing arms, x-brace, poly bushings, SS brake lines, euro floating rotors, K-max camber/caster adjusters, intake, catback exhaust, short shifter, chip. Still not sure who manufacturers the chip, exhaust, or short shifter. Previous owner purchased the car with the mods, and only owned for a few months.

The car is a blast to drive! Enjoy the pics.

    Very nice! How many miles?

Get a low picture of the Muffler, then someone can ID it. Pull the computer and open it up and you'll see the Chip, most likely with name on it.

Look for a PDF copy of the Bentley manual, and grabbing one of Clymer, Chilton or others at Autoshops help also.

What brand is that CAI box/body? I find the air chamber built within interesting.

I'll get a low shot of the Muffler, hopefully that will help. I'll also do a search to see where the computer is located, because I have no idea. Time to get a manual!! The car has just over 100,000 miles.

As far as the airbox, your guess is good as mine.

I road raced an Acura Integra Type R for 6 years, so I know that car really well, lol. But am new to BMW's.

I was going to say the same thing. Only '95s would have a chip. '96+ would have a "tune". Right?

Looks good. You'll have you post up your thoughts on how it compares to the R. I had a 98 ITR for a few years. Really regret selling that car.

If you tracked an ITR, you'll appreciate this car. The ITR is one of the best FWD track cars, and the M3 is like its RWD counterpart.
