If I can get my car ready by then, I will definitely try to get into the race school. If not the race school, then at least I'm going to try to make it into the DE.
hmmm, i really want to go.
Chris, what all goes on? I read the reg. form, but what do you actually learn?
Sean
FYI, I want to have the cage in my car because of the following statement in the form.
C'mon Sean, let's go!If you do well and are accepted into the "graduation race" at the end of the school then you are required to have full race safety equipment for both yourself and your car in order to participate.
I know, same here.
But even if I do cage the car, i don't have the funds to keep up with the likes of Mr. Gant.
Sean
i'm tentative on going....if i get my car ready or if i get another car.
I've heard u learn alot....
practice rolling and standing starts
passing
and more
quickest easiest way to get a rookie license!
Oh yeah....and the weekend after this event.....there's a DE at Barber!
Franklin Joseph
Yeah, you'll learn a ton...Chris, what all goes on? I read the reg. form, but what do you actually learn?
Rolling starts (they don't do standing starts)
Driving off line
passing
being passed
keeping your line in traffic
driving an entire lap side by side
yellow flag situations
etc.... both in the classroom and on the track.
tons of track time... you'll be exhausted when it's over.
You don't know until you try!But even if I do cage the car, i don't have the funds to keep up with the likes of Mr. Gant.
Hope to see some of you guys out there.
