Our East Coast to California rates are $1595 to either LA or Bay Area destinations. Added to that is a 5% fuel surcharge to reflect the ridiculous price of diesel fuel! Enclosed transporter, door to door service, full insurance and the same truck and Driver all the way to destination.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Lots.
I shipped my m3 (non-running at the time) from Va to Pa for a reasonable rate and the drivers made me feel very comfortable with their meticulous inspection of the car and very careful loading procedure.

It was good to see my car in behind a murcielago.

The car got to the destination without trouble and all was perfect.

Definantly would recommend Intercity for future car shipping.

Bah, wish I would have seen this just a couple days earlier. I am waiting on my car to be picked up (still haven't heard anything ).

I'm curious to know how the transport companies work this. The company I have gone through has stated they will "put it out there" and let me know, I am assuming they put the job out there and wait for some company to pick it up? I have heard of some horror stories (NOT with Intercity) of people waiting a long time. anyone want to enlighten me? Mr. Wilson?

    Wink Hawaii shipping

Thanks for the request. The best way to get your car from Hawaii to the East Coast is to use Mattson Steamship Lines From Hawaii to Long Beach CA. Mattson can be reached at 800-628-7661 or 800-462-8766. We work with Mattson and would pickup your car from them and deliver it to you on the East Coast. Mattson's price have changed recently but are still less than $1000. Our fees for enclosed, door to door transport is in the $1600 range depending on your final destination.

Give us a call if you'd like to do this. 800-221-3936 for Customer Service and reservations.

    Happy New Year to all!

If you don't mind, I'd like a quote from Providence, RI to Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. The mode of transport doesn't matter much- the cheapest rate available would suit me fine.
    Thanks!

    transport quotes

SehrSchnell should USE CAUTION. Any transporter that says " I'll put it out there" is a broker who will give your car to whatever Trucker he can find that's going your way. You lose all control of the shipment! BTW don't give deposits either, they are not required by reputable automobile transport companies.

///Molloy. NV to SLC is a little vague. We'll need more info. You can do an online quote by going to our website, www.intercitylines.com.

Ironman502. RI to Minn MN is $1250. Enclosed, insured and door to door.

To all, I try to monitor this site as often as possible. It may be quicker to go to our website for an online quote or call me at 800-221-3936.

Thanks and Happy New Year to all!

    Hooman.

Depends on the size of the "truck". Most reasonably sized{non 4X4, no liftkits etc.}tucks cost $1400 plus fuel surcharge from Chicago to San Diego. A car would be $1250 plus f/sc.

    Thanks.

    Welcome here

Would you know businesses that specializes in the transportation of cars overseas ? I'm thinking about east coast - europe.

I know that it's not what you're doing but as you are in the transportation business you might know !

I'm just wondering about the transportation itself.

I went online and got a quote of $1796 to ship my car from California to Mass. Is this correct or was I not given the discount. I am looking to bring my car home next month and want to use your company. But the price I was quoted is a little deep from my pockets. Please PM me if there is a different price. Thanks.

BTW I will never user The Car Carrier Company ever again. I don't care if I was shipping a hotwheels to the next town. Never ever never. I wished that I had seen your add before I had shipped my car to California.

    Pricing

That's the price. We always try to discount for any of our Forum members, Bimmerforums, Rennlist.com, 6Speed etc.. Our challenges are unstable fuel pricing. Intercity rigs average about 5.5mpg and fuel represents a major variable cost for our operation. We've gone from a $.20/mile fuel cost to $.45 to .50 currently. Fuel coupled with increasing healthcare premiums and cargo/liability coverage makes it difficult to design a doable discount program.

What we have done is to recognize our forum members and try to offer the best pricing at that time. We will always provide preferred scheduling for you, as a forum member, whenever possible.

    Hope that helps!

Your comment about The Car Carrier company is typical of what you hear about car transportation brokers in general. They really have no control over your shipment and need to rely on some Trucker who happens to be in the area to ship your car. The tipoff here is the deposit thing. If your chosen Trucker/Broker requires a deposit upfront prior to moving your car...hang up the phone. There is no reason for a deposit other than an immediate commisson for the broker.
