    low oil pressure sensor where?

    I ordered a new low oil presuure sensor for my car. Where on the block is it on a M52 I heard it was on the oil filter canister but I didn't see it. mine is plastic BTW if that makes a difference

    Yes
    It's at the back of the oil filter canister, at the base. Search for writeups on VDO oil pressure gauge installs and you'll find it.
