Output Flanges on 5spd Getrag interchangeable with M3 ZF 5spd?

    Has anyone tried this?

Apparently the ZF/M3 output flange is a larger diameter bolt pattern than the 325i getrag's pattern.

Anychance these can just be unbolted and swapped? Dunno if they have the same inside spline and outside diameter for slipping into the output bearing.

    Maybe someone has tried this?

Yes therre is actually a thread that confirms that the diff input flangecan be swapped out.If you have a 4 bolt a 6 bolt can be swapped in.

NP! Thanks, tho I have a feeling the rear flange on those trannies either have longer/shorter shafts that slip into the rear bearing... But I'm curious what you find out!

    Thanks
