Hey guys, I’ve been having an issue with my E30 lately and wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this.
The car sometimes cranks for a while before starting, especially when it’s warm.
Cold starts are fine, but after driving for a bit and turning it off, it struggles to fire up again.
Once it starts, it runs perfectly. Could this be the crank position sensor or maybe a fuel pressure issue? Any thoughts?

common causes are leaking injectors, failing fuel pumps, bad cps, failing fpr, clogged filter and a couple others. more or less in order.
Mine may do this at about 55 degrees. I've replaced the temperature sensor with no improvement. Doesn't do it very often so I just live with it. I have found if I push accelerator pedal to floor helps.
What engine in that e30 ?
