Lightbulb Is the diesel x5 the best version of the x5 platform?!

I recently experienced my friend's diesel deleted Porsche Cayenne and I've been wanting to do the delete for my F15 X5. Prior to buying the F15 I did not know that the diesel delete for the newer gen diesel X5 was less common, but what do you guys think, should I get the delete on mine?

The perks are better mpg, better performance and enhanced reliability. The main thing stopping me from doing it is where I live, smog is hard to pass.

If there is enough people requesting the delete I'll definitely do it!

Diesel deletes are a federal offense, and especially worse for the shop doing them. They have been cracking down.
Deleting does not add performance. These can be tuned properly to run reliably with the equipment they have.

I suggest getting a proper tune first.
