- Bought my wife a 2024 769i XDrive, with only 32 miles on the odometer.
- The transport company started the car; backed it up; parked it in my driveway and we inspected it together.
- After inspection, I signed for it, paid the man and got in it to go get it cleaned
- When I got in the car and touched the brake pedal a few of the lights came on then everything cut off.
- All the electricity is completely zapped, to the point I had to use the manual door opening mechanism to get out of the car
- The door locks, the lights, the trunk, nothing is responding
Weird how it started right away on the truck and was running on my driveway, but now nothing. Driver window half way down and will not close or open anymore.
Looked for a "Kill-Switch" procedure which could have been invoked or introduced accidentally, but couldnt find anything.
Any other ideas from the community?
I have BMW Roadside on its way, and opted not to try and pop the hood to jump it for fear of voiding the warranty.
Please advise at your convenience.
Any help from Roadside assistance?
Yes, they came and got it and should already be at the BMW dealer. Anything I learn I will post here to hopefully mitigate someone else going through the same thing!
