I have a 1998 BMW 540i non vanos on the bosch 5.2.1 DME. It has a complete DINAN supercharger kit with the proper tune however it is unfortunately missing the supplied Turbotronics 9 box supplied with the kit. This unit is responsible for rescaling the maf voltage for the DME to compensate for the supercharger, without it the tune is rendered useless. Does anyone know who can tune this ecu or any alternatives to the Turbotronics 9? I know standalone ecu is the best option for power potential and tuning, however I'm not a fan of deleting the EWS immobilizer for standalone applications. Any insight is appreciated!

I'm assuming Dinan did not help whatsoever. I saw a Dinan T9 box for sale a few months back, your best bet is to search ebay and the forums as they do come up for sale once in a while. If not, there's this:

Just because the box says T9 on it, that doesn't mean that it is for your application. There are resistors in there that are PnP removable based on the application it is being used for. Without confirmation, and Dinan is VERY good at helping with this, don't just go throw a T9 on.
As already linked above, I make replica T9 scalers. I can setup of the resistors if the correct information is provided.
Lastly, you are not deleting your entire EWS. I get this all the time from people asking me to do ECU work. The ECU EWS is a BS feature and separate from the key EWS, an actual security feature. You can delete the ECU EWS and not the key EWS.

I went to a semi P&P loom from RHD engineering here in Australia for the ECU Master classic standalone. Less expensive than you think and miles apart from making an OEM ecu recognise boost. May be easer to get OEM ecu to work in Australia. A

Since the Turbotronics 9 is hard to find, your best option is to contact BMW tuners like RKTunes or Kassel Performance for a custom MAF rescale on the Bosch 5.2.1 DME. Alternatively, consider a piggyback system like Split Second to adjust the MAF signal without going full standalone. You can also check BMW forums for someone selling a Turbotronics 9 or a workaround. Standalone ECUs are great but can require EWS deletion, which you want to avoid.
