I purchased my 735i in April of 2023 but never got around much to checking it out. Within the last year, the interior fans/vents, air conditioning, and heat all quit working when the car filled with white smoke - not sure what went wrong or how this can be fixed. My sunroof, heated seats, reverse lights, and all of my defrost (mirrors, sprayers, and rear window) all quit working within the past 14 days. I assume it is a relay issue but not sure. How can these issues be fixed? In that same timeframe, half of my gauge cluster came back to life and started working. My tachometer, fuel consumption gauge, oil service, and inspection lights did not work, but now they do when I never even worked on it. Speedometer, temperature, and some of the icons on the bottom row still do not work though.
What could cause these issues and how do I fix? No idea when the owner would have last serviced this car, but he was not great at it. Likely going to do a full service in Spring as the original Repair Manual explains, but I need my electrical issues solved first.
