2022 740i rear sunroof sunshade not opening

UPDATE:
Found out that you have to initialize the system by pressing the front sunroof button's tilt feature for 30 seconds until it cycles everything, including the rear sunshade. Once that was done the buttons for the rear shade were active again.



I have heard that when this happens it needs to be initialized, but I can't find a procedure for it anywhere. Can anyone lend a hand?
