Muffler Recommendations - closest to stock (850)

1993 850Ci, mufflers rusting out. I'm not looking to get a whole new system, my shop can get piping fabricated. Are there recommendations for mufflers that sound most like stock? Not looking to improve performance, or sound like a race car... I only drive the car like 500 miles a year. I did try searching but everything I found is about complete systems or performance/sound improvements.

    Thank you for your help.

OEMs are like a grand a side! You have to buy the full piece with piping, can't buy just the muffler :/

Magflows are a great bargain; owned a set myself but the sound is definitely more ‘domestic’. OP asked first closer to stock sound.

Another vote for Magnaflows. I’ve been using them on my 96 850Ci for nearly ten years.

Thanks everyone. I ended up ordering OEM replacements. Obviously not the cheapest way to go, but the only way I can be sure I won't be unhappy with what I get...
