trying like hell to post a picture and nothing i do works, what am I doing wrong? thanks

you are newly registered and have only 3 posts = limited access and till you have 10 posts, your posts will not immy shown, but must be manually approved by a moderator, that is our spam-o-matic forum protection.

If you wish to display images in your forum message, you have several options to do so from the desktop, all involve providing the link to the location of your image.

While you are putting together your forum message or editing it, click on the INSERT IMAGE icon and select either FROM COMPUTER or FROM URL. 'From Computer' may not be an option for members with new accounts or low message count.

If you opt for the FROM URL, consider using DropBox.Com, Free Image Hosting(.net) to host your photos. It is suggested to avoid using Photo Bucket or ImgUr as both have been known to be difficult linking to forums.

If you want to use Google Photos, go to google.photos, locate the image(s), use the SHARE icon and CREATE A LINK. Copy and paste the link(s) into your message body. The same copy/paste of the link works for any image hosting site.

There are many options. I hope that helps!
Use the test forum first.

Edit: I have seen your failed test pic in the test forum and modified it, to show just the link as test, that link works , but not if you show it embedded as [IMG] [/IMG]

imgur works on BF, if you just post the link. According to imgur: We allow hotlinking on forums, but hotlinked images cannot be used as content for a website, including blog posts, avatars, site elements, and advertising. You can read our terms of service for more info.
