Front sway bar bushings

I've been looking at these poly bushings for the front sway bar and was curious what you guys think about them

For use with OEM 23mm front sway bar
Our ECS Tuning Billet Front Sway Bar Mounting Kit will provide your vehicle with a more rigid mounting solution from the sway bar to chassis than the OEM steel brackets. With an improved sway bar mounting bracket and the included polyurethane sway bar bushings you can expect to achieve an increase in rear sway bar effectiveness and less body roll as a result.

PART DESIGN

The front sway bar mounting brackets are made from a chunk of 6061-T6 billet aluminum that are precision CNC-machined to bolt into the OEM mounting location while utilizing greaseable, polyurethane bushings. They are Type II black anodized for corrosion protection and include zinc flake coated Class 12.9 alloy steel bolts for premium performance.

The red polyurethane bushings feature a greaseable channel for extended service life and quieter operation than standard polyurethane bushings.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

With our billet & poly mounts replacing the OEM steel & rubber configuration you can expect faster reaction speed and greater effectiveness from your front sway bar due to less deflection. This translates to better handling with sharper, flatter cornering with reduced body roll.

I like the idea. I replaced my OE sway bar bushings with with the purple Powerflex which I believe are an 85A and noticed a big improvement in body roll. I did think at the time that the original brackets are on the flimsy side so these should make a significant improvement in the effectiveness of the sway bar. I guess the question is, how stiff do you want them. Some say you can go too far with sway bars and reduce the independence of the suspension too much. Personally, I don't like much sway at all so I think that for me, I would enjoy these.

You can definitely go to far with sway bars. I'm keeping the original bars, just want to tighten up the bushings/ brackets.

I just put poly bushings into my stock brackets. Something the Energy Suspensions for $25. I wouldn't spend the extra $75 to get better-looking brackets, but that's just me. I'm on a much tighter budget than you are. ..... It was so long ago, and so many mods ago, that I don't remember for sure, but I don't think it made much difference. Still, I agree, you want to know it's as good as it can be.

These seem like a good idea, energy suspension made a similar product that I have used in the past on my old truck. These greaseable bushings allow, in theory, some better articulation by reducing friction on the sway bar during vertical travel of the suspension.
