Checked the battery. Checked all fuses under the glove box and under the hood. Has fuel pressure didn't test with the gauge though cranks has fuel pressure no spark tachometer doesn't move at all as if the crank position sensor might be faulty does it control the spark or the fuel pressure?
You must have a working crankshaft position sensor for it to give spark, or else it won't know when to send the sparks.
Rpm signal in these cars is critical.

AFAIK a bad crank sensor will throw a code. You might also try resyncing the DME and EWS. When out of sync I think you'll get a crank no start condition.

Just how does one resynch the EWS and DME? Advice only good if the methodology is make known..
Also, does the motor have to start for a bad crank sensor to throw a code?

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to add value to these threads, either by pictures or by descriptions, so the next person with the same or similar problem stands on your shoulders.
You have to have a scan tool. INPA is free (you must buy a DCAN cable from Amazon). Or any other reputable scan tool like Autel. You cannot do proper work on these cars without a proper scan tool. In the scan tool there will be a place to resync.
The motor does not have to start in order to throw a bad crank sensor code. BTW, everybody and their brother attributes any and all non-start issues to a bad crank sensor. Those things are essentially magnets and they really don't fail all that often.
