Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish or Nerv-Dull on Style 18 allow wheels?

I have 2 products that I used on my motorcycle to clean the metal. They were recommended and proven products for that application. I no longer have the motorcycle but have these 2 on hand.

Can I use these on my Style 18 light allow rims? I cleaned them first with soap and water but there is still some areas that require a little bit more.

Are these 2 products safe for my rims? I actually am not sure if these style 18 rims are coated or painted or just plan allow???

They are coated, not bare metal. I had mine refinished a few years ago.

Ok, so by "coated" then is that considered "laquered, plated or painted" - I ask because Nevr-Dull is NOT for those types of surfaces and if coated means that, I wont use that product.

Mothers is definitely out as the instructions say to NOT use on coated surfaces.

I'm not sure if the factory powder coats, but they are a painted surface. I know a lot of times, when refinishing them, they will powder coat, then come back over with a semi translucent paint.

yea coated as in clear coat paint. You can use your basic paint cleaning techniques for tough spots - clay bar, bit of compound on a rag, or if it’s really stubborn, a very fine sand paper (800 or more) used very lightly on the tiniest spot.

I had style 18 and switched to style 68 Both are powder coated. I treat them the same as painted surfaces. No aluminum cleaner or other products meant for metal.
