Good afternoon Bimmer forums,
I am in need of help and at the end of all my resources as I cannot find help anywhere
I own a 2003 BMW 5 series 2.2 Petrol Automatic and the CV joint failed a few weeks back the car is with my mechanic and he is having difficulty finding the right part too!
I have got to the point where I can just change the whole driveshaft as the 3 CV joints that I have ordered do not fit my driveshaft either the splines don't match up or the it just doesn't fit (also given the suppliers my reg)
I have my driveshaft off with part number 33207521130 but I cannot find a replacement anywhere the breakdown of the part number is 7 521 130 ai02 does anyone know how this breaks down because I have found 7 521 630 ai02 or 7 521 133 ai02
Can anyone advise the difference between 130, 630 and 133?
Also does anyone have any idea of anywhere to source a driveshaft within the UK
Thank you

Halfshafts can very typically be rebuilt. If you can't find new or rebuilt, call around have your existing shaft rebuilt. That's what I did and it was half the price of replacing with parts from the parts store.

Livin the dream!
In fact the Driveshaft that I linked to (if it is the correct one) is Remanufactured"
