S50B32 connecting pipes for Eisenmann Race?

Hi all, I’ve got a stock ‘98 Euro M3 Evo 6-spd with the S50B32 and am in the US.

I have a used Eisenmann Race exhaust (muffler with a foot or two of piping cut off, not up to the flanges) I bought a while back for an e36 project I have and would like to put it on the Evo. I don’t want to cut up the stock Evo exhaust upstream of the stock muffler, so am looking for the “connecting pipes” as eisenmann calls them.

I contacted Bimmerworld and they said they thought the connecting pipes sold in the US are a different diameter and length and flanges clocked differently than the Euro ones, but couldn’t point me to another part number which would work.

Anyone have any input on this or what pipes to use? I’d prefer to buy pipes that fit upfront rather than try to find a competent exhaust shop to fabricate something I won’t be unhappy with.

    Thanks

Euro pipes are definitely a different diameter. Don't know about length.

Eisenmann *used* to ship the pipes separately from the muffler, and you had to weld them when fitting. They've removed the part about welding from their website (though the Google cache still has it), so they might have changed that to ship them in one piece. But if they *are* still shipping them separate, you might be able to order just the pipes from Eisenmann.

I think I'll just buy an Eisenmann Race for the Euro motor and put this one on the project 328. Smaller piping and will still have to get connecting pipes and weld and then still won't be ass nice as a new plug and play from Eisenmann.
