ME5.2 flash ECU with E39 1996 20-pin?

I feel like ive searched the entire internet and read every article, github, post and cant seem to get any smarter on this.

I tried read ECU and no problem with Galletto 1260 from engine bay 20-pin with 16-odb2 adapter and my laptop with win10. Only partial read 32kb file.
Then got a new tune .bin file from a shop and tried flash with 14.7voltage inside enginebay connected + same setup as when read ecu but reverse, so i thought...
I upload/download tune with software and get 100% and then [Closing ECU...errore invio END]


got answer from a really nice guy owning dudmd called Dmitriy. And he tells me i must also quoting "join pin 14 and 18 together". I am a simple user with zero experience with these things. But if i get some help maybe i could ask a friend who is electrician to help me do it. So does anyone here know little bit more about this? What am i actually supposed to do, in a described way so that even Karen Dumbf*ck Geextah knows what is going on.

Thank you worked. A friend is good and help at the shop.
Now i just have to tweak ignition abit and code out some warning codes too from the dash :XLoL
