I'm rigging up a powerdyne blower on my m54, I'm guessing I need to do something with the crankcase vent hose on the intake pipe, as a vacuum isn't going to be there anymore?
Catch can to atmosphere? Route to exhaust with check valve? Old Dinan/Ford 3 way valve to intake like on original Dinan kits?
You will sometimes get an oil smell in the cabin with the atmospheric vent. Some people instead recirculate and retain a vacuum pull.
If you vent to atmosphere and have the dipstick tube with the stock drain stem on it, you can drain the can to it. Drilling a 1/4 inch hole through the dipstick tube just after the tube passes through the top of the pan is a good idea. The vent assists with draining since the dipstick tube is submerged in oil.
