X5 Diesel Help! P209F- Reductant tank heater control circuit

This is 2012 X535D, Developed this P209F code and check engine light.
Can't pass emissions here in California.
Replaced the active tank with a known good active tank literally from a car that did not show this code prior to removal.
Same code came back again next day, I am stumped now. Does this code indicate anything else?

X5 Diesel Help! P209F- Reductant tank heater control circuit

The error says there's a problem with the control ckt, not the heater in the tank. Start with fuses and wiring related to and whatever module controls the heater.

    Oh brother......
Any pointers where the control unit for this active tank supposed to be or the fuses?
And they say E31 8 series is hard to work on LOL

Don't know where all these parts are but you might have seen them. I've never worked on one and most of the xoupost diesel guys are e53.

Dang, doesn't seem to be a dedicated controller there... Maybe I will end up taking it to the dealer after all

Part 5 or 9. I would find and see if wiring is intact before going to dealer
