    HARMAN HB B114 programming question

I am am having an issue with a 2014 428i X-Drive. ISTA+ is telling me the problem is no power to the Harman Head Unit. When I check, power is fine at the connector, so I am guessing an internal issue with the head unit.

I would like to know if I were to get a working used HB B114
    1. Is there vehicle specific programming that must be done to the unit for it to work?
    2. If it does, can ISTA+ be used to for that vehicle specific programming?
    3. If ISTA+ can, would anyone know of instructions online that explain how to do the programming?

I am new with using ISTA+, so please forgive the newbie questions.

    Thank you.

No, programming is not needed for the unit to boot up. If it doesn't boot up, it cannot be reached by ISTA, therefore not programmable.
