Can I safely git DPF and Cat converter
The question you should be asking is why did the dpf get plugged? It's often due to failure of something *other* than the dpf, and regen cannot be completed due to errors.

Maybe just maybe 192,000 miles might have something to do with it. 🤔🙂
I have had it in to the local BMW Service Center for a thorough inspection diagnostic done. This was the third time in to the service center but the first time with an issue. The first time it was there I was told that the cat converter should be removed, (not replaced) to improve over all mileage and preforance and would help keep exhaust system from plugging up.(the service tech can suggest it but cannot do it) so my question is can they (bpf, cat converter) be gutted out. The DPG duration has ran out.
