Fusible links are good
fuses are good
relays are decent
Bad Fuel is gone
no ews, car is too old
no ob2 to scan
I have a key, but the battery seems old and craped, what does the button on the key do?
what are some good ways to test the ignition switch?, the car has SOME power but not all, kind of at a dead end, the e box is different from a 92 and there's no diagrams of 91 E box
no obvious offenders, maybe I will have to rebuild the fuse box.
here are all ETM by built year, incl the 1991 model year https://shark.armchair.mb.ca/~dave/BMW/e34/
what kind of key do you have? maybe the button is just for the light bulb in the key?

Hello, yes the key is the standard flasher key, all it has is the battery for the light device.
Thank you for the wiring diagrams, I feel like I have a old crepid wire , that is shorting out somewhere, we put a big ol fresh battery from a large 2500 diesel truck, but when the key turns nothing is sent over other than light operation, that is the only thing working at the moment, besides the headlights. Ive had this thing for a month and I keep trying things but find my self stuck, its a little frustrating but the car was a gift and Im willing to dig as deep as I can.

Terminal Designations, Wire Color Codes, Circuit, Block & Schematic Diagrams, Most DIN relays include a miniature schematic diagram, right on the relay housing. Flip the relay over and you’ll find the relay terminals are also numbered. The numbers correspond to the DIN terminal designations.
