About to replace this and wondering what everyone uses. I was thinking either Genuine BMW or Febi. The genuine part is over $100 more than the other.
Should I stick to BMW, or can I get away with the cheaper one?

Good deal. The comments on FCP even said the Febi was one of those factory parts with the BMW logo ground off, like Lemforder control arms or ATE calipers. Still wanted to be sure it was okay if that is not in fact the case.

Febi is oem. Dorman is also oem surprisingly! They just remove the bmw logo! They are made by sgf or sfk? Someone correct me here but as long as your not buying a Chinese one you should be good

Also, make sure you get the M3 one - it's bigger than the non-M.
