E36 Vert Harman Kardon Aftermarket AMP?

Is it at all possible to replace the harman kardon amp with an aftermarket plug-and-play one? I'm looking to do so because I'm not getting any sound from my radio but it powers on just fine. Forums have led me to blame the amp. Looking to go aftermarket with this because finding another convertible specific harman kardon amp hasn't been possible. If anyone knows of any aftermarket amps compatible with an e36 vert, let me know! I haven't had any luck.

Hey I can help you with a replacement convertible Hk amp if you think yours I’ve burnt out. Or I could also make you a jumper harness to give you output to an aftermarket amplifier but tread lightly in this territory. The e36 audio system can be a little tricky. Send me a direct message if you would like quicker response

Check with bavsound.com. I think they have aftermarket plug and play units. Expensive. Also, there should be a fuse to check on the amp itself.
