2019 530i - Stock sound system: NEEDS UPGRADE

I got a 2019 530i w/a stock audio system. In dire need of an audio upgrade. Need solid bass and the rest.
Best options? Thoughts?

Has anyone upgraded before?

First, set a spending limit. That is, the total amount you want to spend. Then determine if you or an audio shop will do the work. Next, what level of sound quality are you trying to reach. Obviously, that’s impacted by the budget. That is, a budget of $5000 would likely provide a level of sound quality an audiophile would like.

I recommend you split the budget into three “buckets”:
- speakers - 50%
- electronics - 40%
- installation/miscellaneous - 10%

Now, installing speakers in a modern BMW is pretty easy as all you have to do is remove the door card and swap speakers. Quality speakers will be built to be installed in your bimmer. Be advised that mid-range speakers for your car will have 3 mounting holes, and not the traditional 4 holes!
