Just got my E36. It needs brakes, what should I get?

I'm reading that the E46 330 fronts and 328 rears are a good upgrade for my E36 328is. Is there anything else I need to do to support the bigger brakes? My car already has 17" wheels.

Stick with the factory setup and save up for a $1000 coilover setup.

Get coated rotors. Akebono or Dynamics Friction 5000 euro ceramic pads. Fresh fluid (dot4 LV or Bosch 5.1).

FCP just had/has a deal on brake kits.. was only 5% I think but just buy the kits off there. Stock brakes work fine and bunch of options including two piece rotors too if you want those. Zimmerman rotors are cheap and work fine. Been using them on my c63 for a few thousand miles with ceramic pads. Got good bite to them too for a stock car (although those are 6 piston big ass front rotors haha)

ended up going with the FCP kit. For now I just want to get the car stopping as nice as it goes.

Akebono Euro ceramic pads + Zimmerman rotors are what I use on both my E36 and E38.
