Any precautions to take when changing out batteries on my 2000 Z3 roadster?

I do not know any precautions but when I changed my battery last year I connected a battery tender to the terminals under the hood while swapping battery. That way my radio and other stuff didn't need to be reset.

Yes. Take precaution to not touch the positive and negative terminals on the new battery together :-D

Actually thinking of purchasing Interstate from Costco.

Make sure you hook up the vent tube and ensure it's not kinked

I changed it in July 2021 with Costco battery..

Got 3 of them (3 different cars) in the last 2 years. No issues.
