    E36 m3 96-99 upper strut mounts

Hard to find these, Out of Stock or insanely expensive.

By chance any available that might be gently used / low miles (swap to coilovers???)?

    Thanks

I'm about to take apart my OEM ones.. not sure on the condition just yet since im waiting for camber plates but if youre still looking let me know. Id let em go for cheap. Just warning you the car has 167k miles and im not sure how much wear is on them but from the top they dont seem too bad. Realistically.. going to camber plates isnt a bad option either.

I am running KYB sealed bearing Guide Supports on the wife’s E36M3 Sedan
However it looks like both KYB and Lemforder are on ‘Back Order’ at all the usual suppliers, in addition to the BMW OEM parts. On the really low end I found a Beck Arne set of GSs.

I did see a 1995M3 part available, same part left/right. Would add a bit of camber on a 1996+M3, about half as much a ‘swapping’ sides.

Appreciate it all guys. KYB is out of stock, question to FCP Euro confirmed but no indication why / when available.

The 96+ strut mounts when switched side to side (L-R) give me the camber I need for my DE car (Bilsteins / stiffer springs) - 3 degrees +. Basically buying camber plates but, back in the day, cheaper.

    Thanks

KYB, Lemforder, Corteco etc are not manufacturing these anymore. After having an order "on hold" for several months without an update available from the vendor, I started reaching out to the manufacturers directly. They've stopped making them, so whatever is out on the market now, is what there is. (Lot's of right side mounts, oddly, with all of the left side mounts gone) That now appears to limit us to BMW brand or camber plates; those options are all in the neighborhood of $500-600 for the set.

Your looking for the standard top strut mount? I have them. Slightly used. 96+ M3, were on my 95M3 to get the camber you are looking for.

I have a pair of new KYBs (left and right). One still in the package. The other didn’t work with my spring set, so I opted to stick with OE rather than buy new springs. Can ship. PM me.

What car are they going on? My understanding is they only give -3 if you are swapping them on a car that already has them and running in the "out" position swapping them to the "in" position. I thought if your current mounts were centered its more like -1.7?
