Never had such an issue. When I click on 'Notifications>Inbox', I see all my received messages, click on Sent Items and I see every message I have ever sent since 2015. I believe I purged the ones prior to that years ago.

I'm having the same issue. Tried sending both a PM to a specific member and also used the general "send message" button and chose the user in the dropdown. Neither show up in my sent folder.

Ok. I haven't heard back from the Admin. I will check back with him. You are restricted on your messaging because of your low post count but it should still show up in your Sent folder.

go on top to settings, then on the left side to My Account>General settings>> there select, then you see and have to select between
    Sent Private Messages:
Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
    or
Don't save a copy of sent messages
When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.

Thanks Shogun. I didn't realize there was a setting in the General Settings area to make saving a copy by default. Like Vinnyp10, I have sent messages before, and not seen a copy of them, then I am left scratching my head wondering what happened. I have trained myself to check the box to save a copy when I send now, but knowing there is a general setting for this is helpful.

I sure don't remember doing this years ago, unless it changed at some point. I would think the default would be to save messages but I guess it would save bandwidth by not doing so. Thanks shogun.
