What's needed to go from base sport seats to heated massage seats?

So, Ive got sand sport seats that are aging. I've found a bargain on full black massage / heat front/rear seating + switch panel. Both cars are 2001.

Is it just a matter of wiring + coding?

I know there must be a thread but the only one I found so far was PFL to FL which, I don't have that challenge.

If they are both 01 - yellow plugs - simple swap. Base sport in an e38 is sport contour with no heat, or are you asking for base e39? I put a no heated e38 sport contour into a 99 e39 sport touring, and it all works. ( the e39 has the same yellow plug ). Massage back then only came on comfort seats - not sport contour. If this is a sport contour with massage, someone did it at home.

Both are from a 2001 E38.

Current seats are sports with no heat.

Seats im considering swapping are from a full optioned 740i (same seats in a 750).
