    WinKPF unable to find ZUSB

    Hey there,

i am trying to update my E46 320D, but WinKPF does not find my ZUSB. I Have updated the E46 SP Files many times but nothing is working. I have so many in there but none of them matches my ECU.

I checked the Sticker on the ECU itself its Number is:
    DDE 7 794 624
    Bosch 0 281 011 122

    How can i proceed now?

What are the last 7 of your VIN?

You only provided the hardware part numbers, so there's nothing you can do with those.
What is the current software number ZB, from INPA diagnosis?

I have checked the car with INPA and took screenshots. Hopefully these will answer the questions.

The update for you would be 7801004 (EU4, manual gearbox) found in DDE 5.03 list

    - - - Updated - - -

In configuration, make sure you have
    "Fast baudrate" NOT checked
    "Programming Voltage" NOT checked
"Force Program Programming" not checked (optional, but faster this way in some situations)
"UIF Write after data / program / in Comfort mode" checked

If you are using K+DCAN cable, make sure the latency is set to 1 or 2ms in Device Manager

The other ZB numbers are not updates for your car, it's for cars with other options.

I used your VIN to reference the correct flash for your car.

Hi, I am also having this issue on my MY2000 E38 740i. When I type in the ZUSB found in INPA (which is 7505039), but I get the ZUSB not found error. I searched through the files using VS Code & I can find this ZUSB in the EK726.HIS file but not the .DAT file. What do I do next? Thanks for any replies.

That ZB is old. Why do you want to flash the same ZB?
7539284 - flash this one, it's the latest update.

I ended up flashing DME to this ZB. I was following a European member but my car is US spec, so caution to others, verify your vehicle matches the vehicle of the guide that you are following.
