First time buying a BMW 530i xDrive Touring. Few questions..

Hey.

I was looking into buying a BMW 530i xDrive E61 Touring. I haven't owned a BMW before (only Volvos), so i have few questions about the car.

-Most of the cars here in Finland have pretty high mileage, are the 3 litre petrol engines and automatic transmissions still viable even at higher mileages? (with good service history) Like 300 000km/186 000 Miles. All of my previous cars have been all with high mileage. Mostly with diesel engines, but even some petrol cars with over 400 000km.

-Is there anything i should know about the xDrive, is it more reliable than the Volvos Haldex?

-Anything else that i should look into before buying the car? I have read about the common problems like the wiring problems, etc.
