Is this an e39 540i manual transmission? 226.0.0276.90

Hi, I was sold this 6 speed manual transmission for my e39 540i manual swap. The serial numbers on it have been coming up as a mix between a 3 series and 5 series on other forums. They are not the same as my other e39 manual transmission.

Also, it has an orange ATF sticker, instead of the yellow MTF one. They had also given me a shifter assembly with linkages that are too long for a confirmed e39 M transmission.

I ask someone to please help me figure out what car this transmission is from, as the seller claims it's from a 97 bmw 540i Manual.

Bellhousing - 226.0.0161.90

Middle - 226.0.0274.90

Gearbox - 226.0.0276.90

This is from my 2000 540.

Bellhousing - 226.0.0161.91

Gearbox - 226.0.0276.92

I do have the original shifter and shift rod in a box somewhere. I'm sure I can dig it up if it will help you.
I used the Rouge shifter and weighted selector rod when I changed the clutch.
