    Ecu for turbo 1997 E36

Hey I bought a Emusa turbo kit from eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/130880999218 . It came with everything you need like lines, intercooler, headers and all that, and Im wondering if I need a ecu I have a stock ecu in the car. It is a budget drift build, would I need a tune for the car also?

Yes, it would most definitely need a lot of custom tuning to get it running right, since it has to be matched for your desired airflow, your MAF sensor, and your injector size. It's not a simple project.

The stock ecu uses narrowband lambda, so it has to be calibrated just right or else you'll be causing damage.

You need a tune for your ECU and injectors and HFM that will work with the box of parts you bought. Hopefully you can find a tuner who will work for you. Since your parts are low quality, you may have to pay for a custom tune on a dyno. Do not buy injectors and HFM until you find a tuner to work with you. Then buy the injectors and HFM they recommend to work with their tune and the power level of your parts.
