hello, please tell me, can the toyota supra a80 be considered a competitor of the bmw e36 coupe 2.8? Has anyone owned a supra? does it drive like a bmw? or is it a good sports car but inferior to bmw in image and design?well, I have a choice between bmw e 36 coupe 2.8 on mechanics or supra, i really like bmw their design, style, interior, sound of 6 cylinder engines. In general, I really like the BMW brand, but the supra also like the design, of course, not as beautiful as the BMW, but I like the 2jz. And the supra doesn't run stock?

The Supra is a heavy GT car and is not known for driving as well as the e36, at least stock

Sounds like you may be suffering from some Trump-style disinformation! If you are so inclined, you might want to lookup some of the Top Gear videos about the Supra A80.
It was known as the Porsche killer!

The twin-turbo six banger had 326 bhp, with a 0-60mph time of UNDER 5 seconds! I would say that the E36 is a more fun-to-drive car, but performance wise there wouldn't
be a comparison. Both VERY nice cars indeed, and I would be torn two ways if I had to decide.

I owned a second gen Supra Turbo and absolutely loved it. My friend owned an E36 and we used to swap cars on drives. Interesting that we liked each others cars better!

Nah, I've been outa high school for a long time. But if I were, and I had an E36
I would race it. I wouldn't win much, especially not against an A80, but I'd race it nevertheless.

I am from Kazakhstan and we have a lot of bmw e36, very few toyota supra a80 , and very expensive. BMW E36 complete from 318 to M3. And how do you like the Nissan Skyline R 33 2.5 det ? Has anyone ridden? it?
