Hey guys,
I'm in search of some Z3 coupe parts for a project I bought recently. Here's what I'm looking for:
- rear hatch
- rear bumper
- right side tail light (preferably amber)
I'm located in the Charlotte NC area
Any wide body Z3 bumper will do, FYI.

1999 Z3 2.8 Coupe, Headers, 3.46, Manual Swap, H&R/Koni, M Geometry/Brakes, M54B30 Manifold, Style 42
It has to be an early model wide body bumper right? I bought a facelift bumper from a 2001 and it won't fit.
Yes, only pre-facelift widebody
Thank you guys! I'm considering an M bumper as well since I got an M trunk floor pan.

probably on the hatch, similar to the euro spec M coupe
The hatches are different between a 2.8/3.0 Coupe and M Coupe. The M versions have the pushbutton off the the right to allow the license plate to be centered. There are also more differences.

Yes I am aware of that. I will fabricate a license plate mount and lights underneath the molding in the center of the non M hatch
If you go forward with that I'd love to see how it's done. I have a 2.8 I want to put an M bumper on and run a euro-spec rear, but the license plate seems like it won't quite fit under the handle (while not overhanging off the bottom edge of the hatch and into the bumper). I've debated trimming the license plate to fit the contour of the handle or cutting a "slit" in the handle to allow the plate to slide up into the handle slightly. I have an extra two euro/2.8 hatch handles for experimenting
Lights are the other obstacle and ideally what I'd want to do is drill two holes in the handle, to run some LED's into the handle. But then I'd have to redirect the license plate lights from the bumper up through the hatch, so realistically I'd probably go with the euro license plate light "tumor"...
The Euro M Coupe uses, for all intents and purposes, what we know in the US as a 2.8 hatch. Narrow handle, push button in the handle. Much cleaner look

It is most likely what I'll be doing. The replacement hatch I am getting is also a 2.8 hatch with the narrow handle as opposed to my original 3.0 hatch. Once I get the hatch, I will start figuring whether I'll trim the license plate or modify the handle. I had a similar idea as you to put the license plate lights in the handle, or find some of the license plate bolts that have integrated lights in them. Wiring won't be an issue for me as i already have the rear all apart so easy access. I thought about getting the euro light hump but decided I wanted to keep the top of the bumper flat haha
I'll keep you posted
I already have the Euro “blister” license light as an option, as well as small hotrod LED license plate bolts that illuminate 90 degrees out of the bolthead. The LED option is less than ideal as it only marginally lights the plate, and to install the license plate, you have to install nuts over the wires and thread them on inside the gate panel. If you ever swap license plates, you have to cut the wires. Plug ends are too large to pass though the nut, plus my hatch is not wired for license lights.
My non-M Coupe project is stalled for a while, so I have more time to consider options. My project has an M hatch with the offset pushbutton, so I can use the M setup if I have to. Yes, I have been looking at the Euro rear panel for inspiration.

I found a M coupe hatch if you're interested in importing it from japan lol

I actually got a hatch a couple days ago. Thanks though guys! It was a lucky find, the guy posted it a year ago and I guess no one picked it up
