Transmission problem Ig

okay so as of today I have not had a single problem with the transmission on my BMW but today something interesting happened. I just went to my car as usual started it up no problem and saw the P on my shifter knob is blinking green. LCI e61, I can not put it into drive reverse manual nor neutral, I have tried to google this problem but cant seem to find anything other than that to try unplugging my battery and reconnecting it again since it seems to be an electrical problem. That did not work and I even Checked the fuse and it was completely fine, I read the car using Carly and it did not say anything about this issue.

Has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it?

Any transmission codes? Seems like your shifter module is not talking to the transmission.
