Z4 DME Kit

Hi, need some help here guys

Z4 E85 2005 2.2i SE Manual - Intenrittent cutting out - Took to the Stealers and they suggested ECU was goosed and would like me to part with £2.2k. SO i removed said ECU and sent off for repair ... this is where my problem started and ended....the repairer has gone into administration and taken my ECU with them !!
Ive been told i now need a DME kit , but i havent got a clue form here on in

Any help from you guys would be appreciated

The aforementioned forum is mainly used by UK owners of Z4's. You might get better help there and actual hands on aid.

I strongly suspect that they will tell you to get a used ECU/DME via ebay or a junkyard. You'll need to recode the DME/ECU to your car. Someone on that forum might be able to help you do this recode.

Get a used ECU from a 2.2i, delete EWS, and change the VIN. If you get stuck, drop me a PM. I can do all of it for 10% of what the dealer quoted.
