    Back in the e24 world!

    Hi Guys,

Excited to share our new (to us) BMW - '82 633CSI. Black/red, 5 speed, sunroof, 78k original miles. 1 owner. Original paint and interior. I'm considering upgrading the wheels/tires, likely to e34 basketweave wheels. What size tires work best? I'll keep this thread current with pics and updates. Very excited to dive into the project!

    Thanks,
    Dan

Great looking car. Going with e34 basket weaves does keep the period look. The 16x7 size mounted with 225/50R-16 are the correct size to keep the speedo and braking system happy. They are also a size that still has performance tires available at reasonable prices from many brands.
