    Help Interpret My PPI

Hi all. New to the forum and looking to join the fold.

I had a PPI done on a car yesterday and need some quick help interpreting the results. I know there is a lot of deferred maintenance, that was not unexpected.

The tech's notes stated the following:

"THE CAR HAS A VERY ODD PEDAL FEEL AS THE CAR WILL ACCEL AND DECEL WHILE MAINTAIN
    CONSTANT THROTTLE PRESSURE"

    Any ideas?

Also the pics below are the codes that came up in a scan. Anything of concern?

    TIA

Battery voltage 0.0 volts?? Was this car sitting for a long time? If so, replacing the battery and clearing codes and re-reading may produce different results. But, being a PPI, you don't want to do that.

EGS isn't communicating? Is this a manual? From the description is wasn't clear. If no, no worries.

The passenger mirror is shot. I think a lot of the other errors are voltage related. Low voltage causes zillions of oddball errors. The DME errors should be of most concern. It probably needs some sensors replaced, maybe the ICV cleaned and/or vacuum leaks fixed.

Who did that test? Not sure if it was done right. Yes, have it running, get the baseline codes. Ensure the battery is fully charged. Reset all modules, and test again.

    Thanks everyone.

Any recommendations on a scan tool to buy? I’ve gotten recommendations for a Foxwell. Any others I should consider?

Ancel AD310 - $22.00 on Amazon - just got one to replace an older generic. I have a foxwell Nt510 - good for finding chassis and module issues, but gives odd OBD error codes. The cheapie is worth the money

INPA is free, except for the cable. I really like PASoft, aka BMW Tools. But it seems to only like to run on Windows XP. If you have the money, a good used Autel MaxiDAS, or equivalent, is a good investment.

Everyone needs a handheld OBD scanner. Easy to use, no computer to drag around, take it to look at cars, etc.
