I cleaned the fog off my headlights and just noticed that I must’ve jarred this thing loose. Is there any way to fix this or do I need to just replace the whole unit? Thank you in advance.

The only way to get there is to bake the headlight assembly in the oven to soften the adhesive that glues the lens to the body. Then you can figure out if it’s fixable.
Someone said there are hella replacements on Amazon for half the cost of BMW. Probably the wiring inside is a mess on a stock light that is 10+ years old. The insulation disintegrates.
Thanks all. I found the hella replacement assembly with bi-xenon and adaptive lights for $740 from eeuroparts.com. Transferred the two control modules and xenon light bulb from my old assembly. Took 2 hrs to replace it myself. Perfect fit. If anyone has this issue look for the YouTube video: https://youtu.be/6i5NbdaNRIg
