Before you ask — yes, this car "sold" on Bring a Trailer (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2004-bmw-x5-14/). The buyer claimed to be going through financial difficulties and decided not to pay or engage in further communication, so here we are. This was NOT due to any fault of the car. The plus side of this is that there are 200+ photos, a free Carfax, and tons of details in the comments section that I spent too much time writing out. Please take your time to look through the BaT listing and comments; I'll keep things short here.

For those unfamiliar, the X5 4.8is was the X5 "M" before there was an X5 M. Finished here in LeMans Blue over black Nappa leather with matching Alcantara blue-dot inserts, this is my personal favorite spec for the E53. This one has just 60k miles and, within the last 1k miles, has received new spark plugs, engine mounts, a full front suspension refresh with Lemforder components, a transmission service with new solenoids, seals, etc (all ZF components), and more. Modifications are limited to Llumar window tint (30% front / 15% rear) and an air-suspension delete (a problematic system on the E53). The car will come with two keys (one is new), original manuals, and a folder of service records.

Priced at $19,950. Similar 4.8is with 100k miles and less desirable options have gone for more than this. I honestly think the car is worth $3-5k more, but I have my eye on something else and am looking for a quick sale after dealing with the shady BaT buyer for the past two weeks.
