Greetings gentlemen.
Haven't posted in a while and am in a jam.
I need to repair a broken window in my 2006 X5. I purchased a donor door with all parts intact.
My problem is the donor door is off the vehicle and not powered up. The window is all the way up and I need to get it into a position where I can access the screws in order to remove it from the regulator.
I'm guessing I can use a jump wire from a 12v battery into the appropriate pins/connectors that were attached to the window control box.
Does anyone out there know which pins to use?
There's (3) connectors, but I am guessing the driver door is activated by the skinny black and white connector with 12 pins.
Your help is much appreciated.
Does anyone out there at least have a schematic showing where the HOT is on the window connector pins?
I am really in a jam and need to fix my window with a replacement glass. I have a handicapped daughter that I need to get around to a caregiver and it's 6 degrees out here in Michigan.
Thank you so much!
Here is a copy of the wiring diagram for that door's window motor. Hope this helps!

For your 06 E53, remove the panel on the donor door and apply power directly to the motor, positive and negative one way goes up and then opposite goes down.
When you apply power it will be clear which way the window will move.
The wire colors should be Black/Grey and Black/Green. Same color wires are at the window switch/door module.
